01 / How your team works

Every agent is a bee with a name, a role and a folder

Named agents with roles

Dev, QA, Marketing, Data, Product, Support, Sysadmin or UI/UX. Each one gets its own project folder and chat.

Group chat with @mentions

Type @Name to hand someone a task. Agents mention each other too, to pass work along.

One hive per company or project

Each hive keeps its own agents, folders and conversations. Switch between them from the top bar.

Shared board

To do, In progress, Done. You create the tasks and agents move them as they go.

Nothing sensitive happens without your OK

  • You see the exact command
    When an agent wants to do something its role doesn’t allow, it stops and shows you what it will run.
  • “Always allow” saves one rule
    Only that exact command, for that agent. Everything else still asks.
  • It reaches you anywhere
    Approvals also arrive as a notification and in the Omarchy bar.

FAQ

How much does it cost?

Nothing: HiveMind is free and open source. You pay your AI provider, or nothing if you use local models.

Do I need an Anthropic account?

No, not if you use Ollama, LM Studio or another provider.

Does my data leave my computer?

Only what your AI provider receives in order to answer.

Does it work on Mac?

Not yet. The macOS version is coming soon.
